Swiss Chard

I’m learning to grow all year in my garden and experiment building cold frames and cloches to cover heartier vegetables such as arugula, chard, spinach, mache, etc…

I’m not a Swiss chard fan but I worked on this recipes for weeks to create a delicious warm Swiss chard salad.

Recipe

10 Swiss chard leaves w stems sliced very thinly (chiffonade)

½ hot red chili pepper sliced paper thin

3 Tbsp hazelnuts toasted and roughly chopped

5 ea yellow cherry tomatoes halved

Dressing

1 Tbsp hazelnut paste

5 Tbsp olive oil

2 Tbsp sherry vinegar

2 Tbsp honey

Tt salt

Tt crushed black pepper mix the dressing ingredients together w a small whisk in a med sized pot until warm.

Add chard and remaining ingredients, toss and wilt slightly, place onto a plate and enjoy
