Big Green Egg

I’ve recently become a Big Green Egg, Professional Chef on Chef Guy’s recipe development team. How cool is this….

I’ve had a Big Green Egg for years and love making barbecue, smoke roasting prime ribs, pork loins, chickens but now I’m taking my cooking to another level. We now have a Mini Green Egg just for baking and pastry-amazing… and a Medium Green Egg for daily grilling. My daughter Faith laughed and said, ‘seriously-who has three Green Eggs Dad?” And then said she told me she wants to get the mini Green Egg for her apartment ‘mini back yard’- It fits perfectly and great for everyday cooking.

Always the student, I’m studying and learning to use the Green Eggs for breakfast, baking, quick dinners, global snacks etc… and loving the results. I’m especially enjoying cooking seafood and Spring veggies on a special rack I got.

We quickly grilled salmon fillets, plenty of seasonal veggies, lamb chops and a slow roasted leg of lamb for Easter.

and my first, Mini Green Egg baked ‘Campfire Apple Pie and Tart’-absolutely delcious!
